Wazirabad (Urdu and Punjabi: وزیر آباد) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the administrative capital of Wazirabad District and Wazirabad Tehsil. Famous for its cutlery products, it is known as the city of cutlery and is also known for its cuisine. Wazirabad is situated on the banks of the Chenab River, nearly 100 kilometres north of Lahore on the Grand Trunk Road. It is 45 kilometres from Sialkot, 30 kilometres from Gujranwala, and about 12 kilometres from Gujrat.

The city of Wazirabad is subdivided into 12 Union Councils. Prior to 2023, Wazirabad was the headquarters of Wazirabad Tehsil and an administrative subdivision of Gujranwala District. In 2023 Wazirabad Tehsil was elevated to Wazirabad District which was then subdivided into tehsils.
British rule
Wazirabad British period mein ek important district headquarters tha jo 1851–52 mein divide ho gaya, aur yahan military cantonment bhi tha jo 1855 mein Sialkot shift ho gaya.
1867 mein municipality bani aur 1901 mein population 18,069 thi. Shehar ki income zyada tar octroi se aati thi.
Wazirabad timber trade ke liye mashhoor tha jo Chenab river ke zariye aata tha. Yahan ke lohar (smiths) cutlery banane mein famous thay, jabke qareebi Nizamabad hathiyaaron ke liye mashhoor tha.
Yeh shehar railway ka important junction tha jahan se Sialkot, Jammu aur Lyallpur lines nikalti thi. Chenab par Alexandra railway bridge 1876 mein banaya gaya jo ek badi engineering achievement thi.
